一、教学目标
1.能力目标
(1)能够听、说、认读词组dance, sing English songs, do kung fu, draw cartoons,play the pipa.
(2)能够听懂、说唱歌谣“Dog, dog, what can you do?”,并熟悉运用句型:What can you do?
2.知识目标:
 (1)掌握A let’s learn的新单词、新句型。
 (2)运用新学的句型以及单词进行日常交际。
3.情感、策略、文化等有关目标:
(1) 情感态度:养成讲究卫生、热爱劳动的好习惯,培养乐于助人的优秀品质。
(2) 学习策略:注重小组合作学习,培养相互沟通和交流的能力。
(3) 文化目标:了解一些有关安全和环保的生活常识。
二、 教学重点  
本课时的教学重点是Let’s learn部分五种活动的表达方法,要求学生做到四会,并能在情景中自然的加以运用。
三、 教学难点
本课时的教学难点是如何利用所提供的对话和情景,以旧引新,让学生进 入学习状态。
四、课前准备 
1.教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、英文卡片、声音、课件。
2.教师准备录音机及录音带。
五、教学过程 
Step1.Warm-up(热身)
(1) Greetings.
 (2)Let’s chant 
 ① 教师播放start部分Let’s chant的录音,让学生边听边看图并能理解歌谣的意思。
② 反复听2-3遍后,可带领学生小声重复。
③ 拍手掌握节奏,教师将Mike变成本班同学的名字进行提问:Tom, Tom, what can you do?可提问3-4人。
(3)Pctice in pairs.(T:Boys and girls,Mike can draw animals in the zoo.Do you want to know what can I do?Look,it’s a football.I can play football. What can you do else? Let’s watch.学生齐说I can….)
Step2. Presentation(新课呈现)
 (1)Let’s learn
  ①Teach the word dance.
T: You are helpful. Sarah is helpful,too. Today is Sarah’s birthday.We’ll have a party for her. What can you do?Let’s look.I can dance.教师领读,教师板书,学生伸出手指齐拼读。学生俩俩一问一答练习。What can you do? I can dance. Can you show? Yes.并伴有动作,自己的才艺展示。
②Teach the word sing English songs.
T: You can dance very well. What can you do else?Let’s listen.I can sing English songs. 教师领读,教师板书,学生伸出手指齐拼读。教师适时的加以引导引出sing Chinese songs,学生俩俩一问一答练习。What can you do? I can sing English /Chinese songs. Can you show? Yes.并伴有动作,自己的才艺展示。
③Teach the word play the pipa.
T:I know you can dance and sing English songs.Can you play the pipa?Listen! What’s this? It’s a pipa.I can play the pipa. 教师领读,教师板书,学生伸出手指齐拼读。教师适时的加以引导引出play the erhu, play the guitar, play the piano, play the violin.
④Teach the word do kungfu.T: Wonderful! I like kungfu. Can you do kungfu?Let’s listen. I can do kungfu. 教师领读,教师板书,学生伸出手指齐拼读学生俩俩一问一答练习。What can you do? I can play the pipa. What can you do? I can do kungfu.
⑤Teach the word draw cartoons and practice in pairs.
⑥然后播放点读机或动画,带领全班一起反复跟读5个词组,提醒学生注意语音语调。
⑦Have a chant.
Step3.Consolidation
1.Listen to a dialogue and fill in the blank.
2. Make up a new dialogue with the key information.
通过屏幕展示的Keyinformation,学生进行两两说的对话创编,复习句型。

【设计意图】充分调动学生自主学习,通过屏幕设置的情境,自主创编对话。
3.watch a cartoon and answer some questions.
(1).What can you do, birds?
(2).What can you do, fish?
(3).What can you do, panda?
④Watch a story and choose what can the mouse do.
【设计意图】通过拓展视频资源使学生巩固深化本课句型,训练、提高阅读理解能力。
⑤Make up a new dialogue in pairs.(综合说)
Step 5. Homework
1、Do a survey: What you can do? What you can’t do?
2、Try to talk about your friend; what can she or he do?
Tip: To be a talented and helpful child.(做一个有才华、有用的人)
【设计意图】培养学生语言的综合运用能力,适时进行情感教育,鼓励学生做一个富有才华、有用的人。
