本课是PEP小学英语五年级上册第六单元第四课时。主要学习复习本单元的词汇以及句子Are there any...? Yes, there are. No, there aren't.

通过学生已经学习的单词导入句型。
【学习者特征分析】
1.知能基础(已经掌握了哪些知识点和技能) 学生已经掌握许多名词及形容词,如动物、食物等词汇;已经能够用there be 句型进行场景描述。
2.学习兴趣及学习动机 已经接触两年多的英语学习,部分同学学习兴趣浓厚,乐于开口说。但是也有相当一部分同学能力有限,出现两极分化,活动的参与率较低。

①复习巩固本单元词汇lake, river, forest, mountain, hill, tree, bridge, building, village, house。

2 .Presentation
(1) 出示村庄图片,师描述场景。

并提问: Is there a ...? Yes, there is./ No, there isn't. Are there any ...? Yes, there are. /No, there aren't.
(2)Watch a video and make dialogues with students:
What's in the video? There is a lake. What's it like? It's like a mirror. Is there a sea in the video? Yes, there is. What's it like ? It is blue and deep. ...
(3)Show students three similar pictures and make students guess which is the chosen one :
Are there any ...? No, there aren't.
Are there any ...? Yes, there are. Is it A? Yes/No.
(4)Show students another two pictures and students practise with each other.
3、Extension
(1) Watch a story and finish the blanks: The story happens in a village. There is a tiger in the mountains. The villagers make a trap to catch the tiger. A traveller saves the tiger. But the tiger wants to eat the man.At last, a rabbit saves the man.The tiger is in the trap again.
(2)Free talk: Help students to draw a mind map in groups and try to express themselves. |
