                           Period 4 What does your mother look like?

教材分析:

本课时是新起点三年下第四单元的第四课时,本节课是本单元整合出来的一节阅读写作指导课,通过本课时的学习,使学生能更好地灵活使用本单元的重点词汇和目标句型,从而培养学生的阅读能力。

教学目标:

知识与技能目标:

1,   能够读懂关于寻找物品主任的对话,并能根据对话中的信息完成任务。

2,  能够根据对话信息,补全短文中主要信息,完成对话转述任务。

3,  能够培养学生从阅读文本中提取关键信息的能力。

4,  能够写出描述一个人外貌与衣着的主要词汇,将小文段补充完整。

5,  检测本单元目标词汇和功能句的掌握情况。

过程与方法:

a、通过师生示范,俩俩对话等形式,让学生巩固功能句型的使用。

b、通过阅读不同类型的英语材料,来培养学生的英语阅读技巧和阅读方法。

c、通过拓展听读进一步学习、巩固本单元描述一个人外貌与衣着的教学内容,拓宽学生的知识面。

情感、态度与价值观:

通过本课学习来培养学生爱家人爱生活的人生态度。

教学重点

1、能够读懂关于寻找物品主任的对话,并能根据对话中的信息完成任务。

教学难点

1、能够写出描述一个人外貌与衣着的主要词汇,将小文段补充完整。

2、能够培养学生从阅读文本中提取关键信息的能力。

学习者特征分析:

    三年级孩子对英语学习充满了兴趣,学习积极性很高,但是孩子对这样的英语阅读课还是感觉有点难,毕竟刚刚由低段的说唱过渡到中高段的阅读写作,对于他们来说有点不适应,我们主要通过此课型利用不同方法来培养学生的阅读兴趣,慢慢培养学生的英语阅读能力。

教学策略:

本课主要通过以大输入和大输出的方式方法,来培养学生英语阅读兴趣和阅读能力。

教学过程:

1、复习:

设计意图(此环节我只给出key points,不给出具体对话模式,这样可以不限制孩子想要表达的内容,思维不受限)。

2、新授听和新授说:

Step1 :导入T:I have a new friend. She’s a girl. Her name is Mary. Please look at this picture, they are Mary’s mother and Mary’s aunt.

Step2Listen and answer my question.

T: What does Mary’s mother look like?

What’s she wearing?

What does Mary’s aunt look like?

What is she wearing?

Read by yourself and fill in the blanks.

Let’s check it.

Step3

T:Please look at this girl. She is sad,because she lost her watch.(帮助学生理解lost的意思.)

T:Look, this is a beautiful water bottle. Who lost this beautiful water bottle?

T: Now please look at this picture. This is Bill. This is Mrs Chen. They are talking. What are they talking about? Listen to the dialogue then answer my questions.

  Who lost the water bottle?

  What does Li Ming look like? 

  What is Li Ming wearing?

T: Read again and fill in the blanks. Then let’s check it.

T: Now let’s talk about our classmates.

4、拓展听读:

一篇有关介绍家庭成员的英语阅读小短文。
