一. 教材分析:
本课是PEP小学英语四年级上册 Unit3 My friends A Let’s talk.是本单元的第一课时.教材分为Let’ s talk, Let’s play两个部分。本课是一节对话新授课。主要教学内容为句型What's his/her name? His/Her name is....;He’s/She has...和新词friendly, strong, his.
二. 学情分析:
四年级的学生经过一年多的英语学习,对英语的词汇和句子已经有了一定的基础。学生三年级上册学习了朋友相互打招呼,用What’s your name?My name is....相互问彼此的名字;三年级下册学习了句型It has....和词汇long, tall,short,small,fat,thin,big...来描述小动物的外貌特征。这些都为本课时的学习奠定了基础,降低了难度.四年级学生的思维仍然以形象思维为主.喜欢唱歌,做游戏.
三.教学目标:
知识目标:
1. 学生能够在情景中运用句型What’s his/her name? His/Her name is....询问他人姓名并能回答;能在情景中运用句型He’s/she’s...He/She has.....描述人物的性格和外貌特征;
2. 学生能够在语境中理解新词friendly,strong,his的意思,并能正确发音。
能力目标:
学生能够将本课所涉及到的句型和词汇在生活当中进行熟练运用。
情感目标:
学生能够了解外貌描述中的文化禁忌。不要取笑朋友的外貌,要尊敬自己的朋友。
四.教学重、难点:
重点:
学生能够在情景中运用句型What’s his/her name? His/Her name is....询问他人姓名并能回答;能在情景中运用句型He’s/she’s...He/She has.....描述人物的性格和外貌特征;
难点:
He’s/She’s....和 He/She has....描述人物的性格和外貌的区别。

七.教学过程:
Step 1: 创设情境,综合复习:(4分钟)1.free talk:
T: Good morning, girls and boys.
S: Good morning, Miss Yan.
T: I am very glad to meet you here. This lesson, we will share it together, OK?
S: OK.
T: First , let’s listen to the song together.2. Sing a song<friends>.
T: What’s the song about?
S: It’s about the friends.
T: Yes, It’s about the friends. Today, we are going to learn Unit3 My friends,Part A, Let’s talk.3.Dialogue 1:
T: Girls and boys.We have a new friend today. Now talk about with the new friend.
A: Nice to meet you.
B: Nice to meet you, too.
A: My name is .....What’s your name?
B: My name is.....I am tall and strong.I have a blue schoolbag.
A: What’s in your schoolbag?
B: A pencil-box,a Chinese book,an English book and a math book.
[设计意图]复习旧知,创设情境,激发学生兴趣,为新授课教学做铺垫,降低新授课的难度。
Step 2:听读新知,初步感知:(14分钟)
1.教师先自我介绍My name's ….,然后提问一名男生What's your name?该名学生回答问题后,教师对大家说:His name is… He is…教师问学生:What's his name? 启发学生回答:His name is...教师继续指其他男生,让学生回答:What's his name? 教师再指另一个男生,让一个学生问What's your name?另一个学生回答 His name is..(多做几组)
2.教师指着一个女生说:She's… Her name is… 然后问学生:What's her name?让学生试着回答:Her name is…教师再指几个女生问:What's her name? 让学生两人一组做What's her name? Her name is…的问答练习。
3.教师出示课文人物图片,让学生做问答:
What's his/her name? His/Her name is…4. 出示班里某个学生的照片,教师说:Look, I have some pictures.Look at this picture, who can tell me his /her name?
4.句型His/Her name is…
5.教师依次出示一些学生的照片,让学生看着照片运用所学知识对这个学生进行描述。
例如:His name is Peter. He has short black hair and big eyes. He's tall and strong.
6.教师出示John的图片问:What' s his name? 学生回答John.教师再出示他妈妈的图片,说:She is John's mother. John is talking about his Chinese friend to his mother. 解释Chinese. 教师:We are all Chinese, because we are all from China.(这时教师可以指一指教室里的国旗,帮助学生理解) 教读单词Chinese。
7. 让学生观看教学课件[使用与教材相配套的教学课件Unit 3 Let's talk.
8.让学生就对话内容回答问题。
Does John have a Chinese friend?
What's his friend's name?
Is he tall and strong?
9.听录音,跟读对话。
10.让学生表演课文对话。
11. 做"猜人"游戏。与Let's play部分相结合。让一个学生来描述自己的朋友,其他同学要根据描述猜出这个人是谁。如:My friend is a boy. He's thin. He has short hair. He likes math. Who's he?
12.听音猜人。教师让猜迷的人到前面来,背对全班,然后让一位学生站起来用英语跟他说一句话。猜的学生要根据说话人的声音判断性别A boy? A girl?其他学生判断Yes或No。如果回答对了,全班同学再问:What's his/her name? 猜的学生要继续回答出说话人的姓名。全班同学用Yes.或No来判断对错。猜的学生规定有5次机会,如果回答5次还猜不出来,就算输了。
Step 3:情境交际,巩固新知;(5分钟)
Dialogue 2:
T: Talk about your new friend.
Key words:
A: I have a new friend.
B: What’s his/her name?
A: His/Her name is . He/She is .
B: He/She is my friend,too.He has .
A: He/She is very friendly.
B: Yes.
[设计意图]通过设计另外的一个情境,让学生把本课所学知识进行灵活运用。
Step 4: 拓展听读,整体感知:(12分钟)
We are tired now. Oh, look! Here’s a TV. Let’s watch TV together.
拓展一:main sense.
拓展二:story time
拓展三:tony’s new friend.
拓展四:I have a friend.
Step 5: 综合运用,灵活表达:(5分钟)
T: The cartoons are so funny. We have a good rest.
Dialogue 3:1. Make a dialogue.(同桌相互讨论,自编对话,向同桌介绍你的新朋友。可以用思维导图当中的关键词句,也可以用自己的语言。)
Step 6: 小结
We all have our own good friends. We must learn to respect our friends

用英语描述自己的一位朋友给家长听。
