【概述】

本课是新版pep六年级英语下册unit4 Then and now的第二课时。本课Let’s learn部分主要学习dining hall, gym, grass, …years ago, last year等单词，以及句型There was/were no….

【学习者特征】

1. 六年级学生积极做事，比较开朗活泼，对新鲜事物感兴趣度有所下降，但认知能力有所提高。对于本课的学习，要让学生能够在视频、多媒体课件、同伴示范下准确的把握英文单词、句子的意义，并且愿意尝试根据周围语言情境提示推测不同语言内容的意义。

2、学生对学习英语有一定的兴趣,乐于感知，模仿习得语言，但英语的听读能力还有待加强。

【教学目标】

1、知识目标：学生能够听、说、读、写单词dining hall, gym, grass, …years ago, last year,等。会说There was/were no…

2、能力目标：学生能运用所学单词和句子描述自己学校的变化以及生活中的其他变化

3、情感态度与价值观

让学生注意学校的变化，发现生活中的变化。学生应注意不应长时间玩手机游戏，应学会在网上学习。

过程与方法

通过师生交际、自主说、两两说、小组合作等方式，培养和提高学生的语言交际能力和综合实践能力。

【教学重点】

能够听懂、会说、认读单词dining hall, gym, grass, …years ago, last year,会说句型There was/were no…并能在生活实际中正确使用。

【教学难点】

能用重点词组和句型描述过去与现在的变化。

【教学资源】

1、教师准备的教学课件。

2、制作的微视频。

【教学策略】

本课的教学以“语言交际为中心”。借助多媒体资源，通过创设情景，借助视频教学等多种方式，引导学生自主学习，使学生在丰富语境中培养其听说能力和语言综合运用能力。

教学步骤：

Step1: warm-up

1.Greeting

2.Sing a song：Changes in me（2m）

（设计意图：通过本单元英文歌曲带学生进入课堂）

3.Say the words of time quickly(2m)

Call some to say. Then read the words on the screen quickly.

（设计意图：复习关于时间的单词，让学生感受本课学习内容将会和时间有关系。）

Step2:Pesentation

1.T: What is the date today?(3m)

Show the phrases: …years ago,…months ago, last month, last year.

（设计意图：通过询问日期，引出本课重点关于时间的词组）

2.Say the past tense of the words.(1m)

（设计意图：复习动词的过去式，为下面的学习做准备。）

3.Watch the video: Changes in my school(3m)

（设计意图：通过观看视频感知重点句型，创设情景，激发学生兴趣。）

4.Let’s learn(6m)

Learn the words: dining hall, gym, grass

And the sentences: There was/were(no)…

(设计意图：通过动画学习新知，跟读原声。)

Step3: Practice

1. Listen and match (2m)

Listen to the record and match.

(设计意图：通过听力巩固所学单词和句型。)

2. T: Now I want to know the changes in your school. Please talk about the changes with your partners.(6m)

Let students to make new dialogues about the changes in their school and show them.

(设计意图：通过师生对话、生生对话练习重点单词和句型)

Step4: Consolidation and extension

1. Watch the video: Changes in our life(2m)

（设计意图：激发学生兴趣，拓展新知识。）

2. Choose the words to fill in the blanks in groups. Then read and check.(5m)

3. Write a passage: Changes in my school (7m)

(设计意图：通过巩固句子，提高写作能力。)

4. Look at the pictures and make students know that they shouldn’t play mobile phone games for a long time. They should study on the Internet.(1m)

（设计意图：在对今天的生活有所对比后，让学生知道不能沉迷于手机游戏，要利用网络学习。）

Homework：

1.Write the new words 5 times.

2.Make a new dialogue by main sentences.

3.Talk to your friends about the changes in you.
