    Unit 10 Activities

    Objectives:

    1. To read and recognize the words: ride, skip, play, fly, football and rope

    2. To read the phrases, ride a bicycle, skip rope, play football, fly a kite, and to do actions.

    3. To ask and answer with the structureWhat can you do? I can play football.

    4. //建议梁老师按照三维目标的方式阐述教学目标。

    5. //教学设计开始还需要教材分析。

    Difficulties:

    1. To recognize and read the verbs, ride , skip, play, fly.

    2. To make phrases with the verbs, ride a bicycle, skip rope, play football, fly a kite.

    Materials:

    1. 牛津英语上海版,1BModule 4, Unit 10 Activities.

    2. PPT, Koko U disc, word cards, students’ cards

    Learners:

    The students have learned some actions words, like, sing, dance, read and draw. They also can ask and answer about one’s abilities, using the structure, What can you do? I can sing.

    Teaching steps:

    Step One Talking

    1. Sing a song

    How is the weather?

    1. Free talk (T—S S—S)

    A: How are you? B: Fine, thank you.

    A: How is the weather? B: It’s cloudy.

    It’s a fine day. The children want to play outside. Look and listen! What can they do?

    1. Review the actions. (pair work)

    Do you want to play outside? What can you do?

    A: Hello! B: Hi!

    A: What can you do? B: I can sing.

    Step Two Teaching

    1. Look at my friends. They are playing outside. Who are they? What can they do? Teach the words and phrases one by one as the following steps. Get the students say and do actions.//做动作说很好,后面也可以让学生做动作然后猜,提高学生的兴趣。

    1. ride – ride a bicycle—ride a horse—ride a scooter—ride an elephant—ride on my father’s back

    Ask the students to make phrases. T: What can you ride? I can ride a horse.

    1. Fly –fly a kite T: What can fly? Can a bird/bee fly? Can you fly?

    2. Play – play football

    T: What can you see? I can see a foot. Foot + ball = football I can see a football. What can you do? I can play football.

    1. Skip- skip rope sing the song on page 47

    1. Let’s act in pair.

    A: What can I do? B: (You can) fly a kite.

    1. Say a chant.

    2. Listen to the vClass word 1, Reading 1.

    3. //新授部分输出的句子有点少,建议与前面学过的内容相结合,让学生的对话段落多一些。

    Step Three Training

    1. What’s missing? & match the words. Using word cards.

    2. Quick response. I can ride a bicycle. I can read. …

    3. Look at the figures and introduce them.

    Eg. Hello, I’m Kitty. I am eight. I am short. I can sing and dance. I can ride a bicycle.

    1. Introduce yourself like the above.

    2. //如果是最后环节的大输出的话,建议还是使用对话的形式进行两两说。建议梁老师可以选择与前面的内容相结合,比如您上回提到的季节掌握的不好,可以让学生练习说什么季节我们做什么运动等,这样新旧结合即练习了新授句型,也反复循环了前面的旧知识。

    1. Listen and read page 44—47.
