教材解读
本课是人教版英语三年级上册Unit 3 Look at me的复习课。本课通过使用绘本“Kevin travels in the sea” 帮助学生复习身体部位单词head, face, nose, mouth, eye,ear, arm, leg,foot,body, 并拓展动物单词,为Unit 4 We love animals 的教学做铺垫,既复习巩固又拓展延伸,并为下一单元的教学做准备。
学习目标
1、能够通过绘本故事复习巩固身体部位单词,并能够拓展与运用。
2、能够理解故事大意,并在概念图和老师的帮助下复述故事。
3、通过阅读绘本故事,培养学生的学习兴趣。
教学重点
1. 通过绘本故事复习巩固身体部位单词。
2. 阅读理解绘本故事并完成相应的任务。
教学难点
能够理解并复述故事。
教学过程
设计意图
Step 1. Warm up
Greeting.
Free talk: How are you? Fine, thanks….
Let’s sing a song. Head and shoulders, knees and toes.
Step 2. Pre-reading.
Listen and do. (Close your eyes. Open your mouth. Touch your nose. … )
Lead in: You did a good job. Now here is a prize for you. What is it? It’s a story.
Talk about the cover of the story. (What can you see? What’s the boy’s name? What’s in his hand? )
Step 3. While-reading.
1. 1streading:
1) Watch, listen and think: Where is Kevin?
2) Read and choose.
2. 2ndreading :
1) Read and think: What do you see?
2) Ask and answer: What do you see? I see a ... (教师边说边贴板书。)
3.3rd reading:
1) Read the story and finish .(小组阅读完成概念图)
2)Check the answer. (教师完成板书)
Step 4. Post-reading .
Read the story in groups.
Retell the story. (Look at the blackboard and the mind-map, try to retell the story.)
Act out the story in groups.
Show time.
Step 5. Homework.
Make a new story.(e.g. Kevin travels in the park / …)
课前热身,复习日常用语,通过歌曲律动激发学习兴趣。
通过听听、做做,以Brainstorming的方式帮助学生复习身体部位单词。用一个故事作为奖品给学生,导入阅读教学。
初读感知故事大意。
(小组阅读,完成概念图。)
