Step1. Warm up
Review the text learnt before.
T: Maomao, Guoguo, Kate and Lala are playing in the park. But suddenly, Maomao finds some of his friends are missing. Who are missing?
Ss: Kate and Lala.
T: Yes, but where are they? Let’s have a look.
Step2. Presentation
T: Maomao and Lala are in a park. (Show the word ‘park’) How did they go there?
Ss: By car. (Show the word ‘car’)
T: Yes! What do they see in the park?
Ss: …(Show the word ‘star, grass’)
T: Lala says ‘ I like the star very much’, can you draw a star? But Kate cannot. Then a boy comes. Who is he?
T: He is an artist. (Show the word ‘artist’)
T: So the artist draw a star. Lala and Kate think it is very beautiful. But the artist says he can draw a picture which is more beautiful. Let’s have a look at the picture.
Tell the story
P1: The artist says ‘One day, I drew a star, but the star was alive. It says Artist, artist, can you draw a sun?’ So the artist said ‘Ok, ok, I can draw a sun.’ Then the artist drew a warm sun.
