Unit3 At the zoo 第二课时（对话）

1. 教学内容概述

本课时是三年级下册第三单元的第二课时，也是本单元的第一次对话课。主要是学习用形容词来描述一个事物。

2. 设计理念

为学生提供恰当的情景进行对话表演。以旧句型带入新知识。

3. 学习者特征分析

1、基础知识

在三年级上册学生已经学习动物单词，如panda, cat, dog, pig, bird, bear 等。并且能够使用颜色的单词进行描述。在第一课时中，学习了tall, thin, fat, short 等形容词。

2. 学习兴趣及学习动机

大部分同学对于英语学习兴趣浓厚，乐于开口说，小部分同学基础较差，羞于开口说。

4. 教学目标及重难点

1、教学目标

熟练掌握it’s so ... 和it’s ... and...的句式，会用look at 进行表达。

能够用新学句式描述事物，进行交际。

愿意参加课堂活动，有学习动机和兴趣。

2. 教学重难点

Look at 的恰当使用；对喜爱的动物进行的描述。

（一)、Revision

1、Greeting

2、Take students to the zoo. And finish the diaologue:(生生对话)

Dialogue针对什么内容？

A: What do you see? B:I see a panda/fish/monkey...

3、Review the chant learned in lesson 1.(on P25)

（二）、Presentation

1、Show students some animal pictures . Finsh the dialogue with one students, and then students do pairwork.(生生操练)

T: look at the cat. S: It’s fat/thin/tall/short.

2. Guessing Game: Teacher describes an animal and make students guess what it is.

T: It’s black . It’s fat. S: it’s a cat.

T: it’s white and black. It’s fat. S: it’s a panda...

2. Pairwork:(生生对话)

A: What’s that. B: It’s a black cat. It’s short and fat.

4、Watch the video of the dialogues on P24. Students read the dialogues.

（三）、Extension

1、Watch two videos about animals.

2、Read the following dialuges.

3、Students try to describe their pets.

I have a ____. It’s yellow. It’s short and fat. It can run. It can swim. I like it.
