教材分析
本节课的主要学习内容是PEP三年级上册Unit 4 中 Part B Let's learn部分中的五个主单词和一个主句型: “What’s that ? It’s a tiger .”根据课标、学材、教参等要求,本节课的主要目标是:学生在掌握五个主单词和一个主句型的基础上,能够综合运用本课所学内容联系前面所学,描述动物。
Let’s chant所涉及的句子是本单元的主句型,也是对let’s learn中所学五个单词的巩固延伸及综合运用,所以可以作为一个拓展环节来进行学习。

学习目标
1.在听录音、看挂图或卡片的基础上,说出单词tiger,monkey , elephant ,panda, bird。
2.根据文中的句型,借助录音的听读,并结合新单词造句,如:“What’s that ? It’s a tiger .”做到发音准确。
3.能根据指令做出相应的动作。

T: Look at the ppt. Today we will learn “We love animals ” . Look at the picture please .What’s this ? Now let’s see together .
1 bird
(1) ask the students to listen to the radio and follow the word “pig ”.
(2) Then practice the pronunciation b→[b] ir-[ ] .
(3) Ask the students to spell the words “b-i-r-d”on the different places.Then play the “train game”.
(4) Make the phrases: What’s that ? It’s a bird .
2 zoo
(1) ask the students to listen to the radio and follow the word “ zoo”.
(2) Then practice the pronunciation z [z ] oo[ u: ].
(3) Ask the students to spell the words “zoo”on the different places.Then play the “train game”.
(4) Make the phrases: What’s that ? It’s a tiger
3 panda
(1) ask the students to listen to the radio and follow the word “ panda”.
(2) practice the pronunciation p–[p ] an-[ ] da-[ ]
(3) Ask the students to spell the words “p-a-n-d-a”on the different places.Then play the “train game”.
(4) Make the phrases: What’s that ? It’s a panda.
4 bird
(1) ask the students to listen to the radio and follow the word “bird”.
(2) Then practice the pronunciation b→[b ] ir[ ] d[ d ].
(3) Ask the students to spell the words “b-i-r-d”on the different places.Then play the “train game”.
(4) Make the phrases: What’s that ? It’s a bird .
5 elephant
(1) Ask the students to listen to the radio and follow the word “elephant”.
(2) Then practice the pronunciation e→[ e] ,ph-[ f ] ,an-[ ].
(3) Ask the students to spell the words “e-l-e-p-h-a-n-t”on the different places.Then play the “train game”.
(4) Make the phrases: What’s that ? It’s an elephant .
6.整体操练单词:
Flash the cards : recite the 5 new words
7.Check the words by using the train game
8.用“What’s that ? It’s a tiger .”描述动物。
透过图片,更形象、直观的让孩子们知道本文本内容通过一个free talk ,设置疑问,激起孩子们想了解新文本的尽头儿。借助造句,挖掘孩子们造句的潜能.
Step3:Practice&consolidation(巩固拓展)
1.Make dialogues:
A:Look at that dog .
B:It’s __________
A:Yes , it is .
2. Listen to “Let’s chant ”and do follow the tape.
现在属于课堂后段时间,孩子们的思想上会有些困乏,借助chant可刺激孩子们的细胞,使其精神振奋,重新投入学习中。

Sum up the words and the sentences .
小结凸显出本节课的主单词与主句型,加深学生记忆。
