    • 一、教学内容

    PEP小学英语四年级下册Unit 1 My school Let’s learn,本课时将主要学习描述设施及活动场所的单词:playgroundgardenteacher’s officelibrarycanteen同时要学会询问或描述学习设施和场所的大体位置,掌握句型Where is the……? It’s on the first floor.

    • 二、学习者特征分析

    小学四年级学生,通过上一册的学习,已经掌握了一些与学校设施有关的简单词汇,如classroomcomputerteacher’s desk 等,能运用所学对学校进行简单的描述。他们学习英语兴趣浓厚,模仿力强,善于表现自己,但有的学生活泼好动,自控能力差。因此,教师即要适度的控制课堂,又要使课堂不失趣味性。

    • 三、教学目标

    1..知识目标

    能听、说、认读本课时的主要单词,能熟练的运用重要句型来询问和描述,能将本课对话在实际情境中运用,做到语音清晰,语调自然。

    2.能力目标

    能积极与同学合作,运用所学英语与他人交流。

    3.情感目标

    学生简单了解学校设施、场所大体功能,培养学生热爱学校、热爱用英语表达的感情。

    4.拓展目标

    能将学到的单词、句型在不同的生活场景中正确运用。

    • 四、教学重难点

    教学重点:

    1. 听、说、认读playground, garden, library, canteen, teacher’s office

    2. 会用句型:Where is the…? It’s on the first floor.

    教学难点:

    让学生注意单词Library辅音连缀的发音,灵活询问和描述学校设施、场所的大体位置。

    Step1 Warm up

    1. Sing a song: Our school

    2. Free talk

    Look at the photo.

    T: Look at the picture. What’s this?

    S:It’s our school.

    T:Yes,this is school. It’s beautiful, I like it very much. Do you like our school?

    S:Yes,it is.

    T:Can you describe our school for me?

    设计意图:用以前学过的单词如computerclassroomteacher’s desk 等,让学生初步感知美丽校园,为后面词汇学习做铺垫。

    Step 2 Presentation

    T:找个别同学回答

    教师做出饥饿状态:I am hungry ,tell me where I should go?

    S:餐厅

    Tright, do you know how to express it in English?

    T:Where is our canteen?

    S:it’s on the……floor.

    同桌之间练习Where is our canteen? it’s on the……floor.

    ⑤教学teacher’s office

    The teacher shows photo.

    T:Are you familiar to this place?

    S:Yes,we are.

    T:Do you know how to express it in English?

    找个别学生读,提醒学生单词发音,反馈个别学生读音情况

    Twhere is my teacher’s office?

    S:It’s on the ……floor.

    同桌之间互相练习。

    1. 看口型猜单词。教师先示范,然后让学生做。
