一、 教材分析:
教材内容:PEP小学英语第四册Unit 4 At a farm Part B Let’s learn。本课时将要呈现的是一幅农场图,图中包括本课时要求掌握的重点单词sheep,hen,cow,horse以及句型What are these/those? They are…Are these/those…? Yes, they are.No,they aren’t.目的是让学生通过看图问答巩固所学的动物名词,同时了解并掌握这些单词的复数形式。

二、教学目标:
1、知识目标:
(1)使学生能听、说、认、读sheep, cow, horse, hen单词。
(2)巩固句型:What are these/those? They are…Are these/those…? Yes, they are.No,they aren’t.等句子,学生能听懂并理解其意思。
2、能力目标:
(1)能听懂Let’s do中的指令并做出相应动作。
(2)能灵活运用所学知识进行交流。
3、拓展目标:
句型①.I can …(feed, ride, milk, shear, hold) the sheep/hen/cow/horse/lamb.
②. The sheep/hen/cow/horse can… (give people fur/meat/eggs/milk或carry the things.)
可拓展更多与农场,动物有关的听读材料或视频,让学生在不同的语境中灵活运用。
4、情感目标
(1)培养学生注意观察、认真模仿的良好习惯和主动竞争的竟识。
(2)激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立学习英语的自信心。
(3)教育学生“动物是我们的朋友,要爱护动物”。

三、学习者特征分析:
教学对象是我所带的四年级学生,经过一年级和三年级的共同学习,所以学生对跨越式的教学流程有一定的了解,能够接受和掌握拓展阅读的大部分知识。他们活泼好动,喜欢说唱英文歌谣,但有的学生的主观能动性比较差,受外界影响较大,自控能力差,因此,教师要多关注学生,尤其是后等生。

四、教学重、难点
教学重点:1、掌握农场上常见的动物的名称及其复数的表达形式。
2、句型:What are these/those? They are…Are these/those…? Yes, they are.No,they aren’t.的问答。
教学难点:所学单词的复数形式(尤其要注意sheep的复数、单数形式是一样的)以及复数形式发音。

教师: 课件;所学动物的图片、单词卡(单、复数各一套);学生奖品若干。
学生:白纸若干

六、教学过程:

Step 1. Warm-up
1、Greetings.
2、Revision.
T: I’m Old Macdonald .I have a big farm. Yesterday we visited my vegetable farm. Let’s go and see again.
T:Are these …?
S1: No, they aren’t.
T: What are these?
S1: They are…
T: How many … can you see?
S1:I can see…
T: Do you like …?
S1:…
T: Work in pairs and show. 此复习说能够高效地带动学生复习上节课的主要知识,快速地进入本课内容,也能增加学生在课堂中练习的时间。

Step 2: Presentation
1、T:My farm is so big. So I need an assistant for my animal farm. Do you want to be my assistant?
Ss: Yes!
T: But you should finish the three tasks:
The names of the animals.
What can you do for my animal farm?
What can the animals do for people?
T: Are you ready?
Ss: Yes.
2、Sing an English song :“ Old Macdonald had farm!”
Dear class, Let’s sing an English song. Please,give me your hands and follow me and follow the CAI.(播放课件,展示flash动画,师生一起拍手跟唱歌曲“ Old Macdonald had farm!”。)
T: On the farm I had some animals. Do you know what are they?(学生根据歌曲内容回答问题)
S: Chicks and ducks.
T: Good job! But there are also had many other animals in it. Let’s go to 。;。-the farm and have a look. Listen to the sound. Guess what they.(听声音,学生根据动物的叫声猜测是什么动物!) are
【设计意图】通过学生听动物的声音,既可以引起学生的有意注意,又可以激发学生们的学习兴趣,完成P41 Let’s play。
①教学hen
T: What is it? ( 画简笔画,学生们看图可用汉语回答)
S1: 母鸡
T:Yes,(出示单词ten, pen,让学生自己说出“hen”。)Please follow me, please!
Ss: Read it together.(升、降调、小组、个人等形式读单词。)
T:Do you know what is it?(老师在母鸡的后面画一个鸡蛋)Yes, it’s an egg.(然后再画一个)Look, what are they? (学生们已将知道是鸡蛋了,于是便会说是eggs) Yes, good job. They are two eggs. (继续画一个鸡蛋)What are they?
Ss: They are three eggs.
T: Yes, very well. (然后老师一边画另一支母鸡一边问,学生可能仍就感觉是鸡蛋,但最后画的是一只母鸡)What are they?形象生动
Ss: Hens.(学生们根据上面的练习,会很自然的说是hens)
T: (教师鼓励)They are hens.(展示附属母鸡的图片)
How many hens can you see? Do you like hens?
【设计意图】 通过相同音素单词的比较,由学生自己感觉“en”的发音,用以学过的的单词教学新单词会更加容易。同时通过学生们自然的理解记忆,更能进一步加深学生对单词复数的的印象。
②教学cow
T: What is it? Do you know?
S: 牛
T: What is it? It’s black and white.
S: 奶 牛
T:Yes!It’s a cow. ( 左手出示一头牛奶的词卡) Look at these words,(how, now) . How to read?
S:学生用各种形式跟读单词。
T:(右手出示一群奶牛的图片)It’s a cow. And they are cows.
S: 经过教学hens的复数,学生们很自然的感知cow的复数形式是cows。
T:You are so clever.
③教学horse
T: Listen!Who is coming? (播放课件马的声音,学生们都可以猜出是马)Who can draw it on the blackboard。
S: (学生画马)
T:Is he/she right?
S: Yes!
T: (教师展示一匹马的课件)Yes,is a horse. Look at my mouth and Follow me.(强调o的发音圆唇不变化)Who can try? (Ask students to read out the word。 )
Ss: Read it together, this line, one by one,
T:(点击课件,出现了两匹马)Look,What are these?
S: They are horses. (重点强调horses的发音) 操练单词。
④教学sheep
T: It has two horns. Its wool is long. What is it?
S: 绵羊
T:Yes, It’s a sheep.(出示绵羊的词卡)Follow me. “sh”—“∫” “ee”—“i:” “sheep” Who can try? (Ask students to read out the word )
Ss: Read it together, one by one group and group.
T:(点击课件,出现了三只绵羊)What are they?
Ss: They are sheeps.(学生可能根据以前的规律说出sheep的复数是sheeps,所以教师纠正:sheep的单复数形式一样)
⑤教学goat
T: Look, (教师边画边说边做动作)It has beard and two horns. It likes climbing mountains. What is it?
S: 山羊。
T:Yes, we can see a goat.(出示山羊的图片)Look at my mouth. Follow me. Who can try?
Ss: Read it group by group, one by one and so on。
⑥教学lamb
T: Please look at the CAI. It’s the mother goat and it’s the father goat。Do you know what is it? (教师出示CAI,展示羊爸爸羊妈妈的图片,最后由学生猜测?表示的是什么?)
Ss:小羊。
T:Who can draw it on the blackboard?
S:学生上台来画小羊的图片。
T:Is he/she right?
S: Yes!
T:Look, It’s so lovely. Thank you. It’s a lamb. Here b is silent (b不发音) lamb (look at my mouth ) lamb, lamb. Follow me, please!
S:(个别学生操练)(生降调操练)
T: One lamb, two lambs, three lambs. Look, they are lambs. (出示许多小羊羔的图片,教学单词复数。)
S: 学生操练单词复数.

Step 3 Consolidation
Quick response.
出示动物的一部分,然后让学生分别说出小动物是什么。教师问:What are these/those?
学生用They are ….这个句子回答。
Chant!
Cats, cats. Are these cats?
No,no,they aren’t.
Dogs,dogs,they are dogs.
Make your own chant.
Make a dialogue and show. 希望本对话能够呈现出具体的对话内容,如可以问What are these? How many ...s? Do you like ...s?等等扩充对话内容。

1.T:There are other animals, what are they?
2.Let’s do:
T: Now, let’s go to the farm and help me to do something. (播放课件Let’s do部分音乐,师生一起做动作)
