教学步骤
Greeting between teacher and all pupils.( Good afternoon!How are you? Nice to meet you!)
Chant with action.(Father tall ,Mother short, Brother big, Sister small, Tall or short, Big or small . I lover them all.)PPT
(3) Teacher asks: Who’s your father’s father?/mother’s mother?/father’s brother?/father’s sister? Pupil 1 answers: My grandpa….
(4) Review the words(lady, woman, boy, girl, man)
PPT:Mr Pu is a man . Miss Zeng is a lady .Pupils say the sentences together.(Use the pictures of Pupils’ teachers)
(5)Pair work: Who’s this / that lady / woman / boy /girl /man? He’s / She’s …(PPT)

第二大环节,新授(听读新知、初步感知、情境交际、巩固新知)
(1) Teacher points to her picture and ask “Is she your mother?”Pupils: No. Teacher teaches:”No,she isn’t. Teacher : Is she your teacher?Pupils: Yes. Teacher:Yes,she is .Teacher point to a boy. Teacher: Is he your brother?Pupils: No. Teacher:No,he is n’t. Is he your friend?Pupil:Yes.Teacher:Yes,he is .
Practise the sentence structures in a mechanical way.
(2)Practise the sentence structures in a meaningful way. Pupils use the sentence Is she/ Is he your sister/brother/father/mother/uncle/aunt? to guess teacher’s picture. Teacher answers: Yes, she/he is . No, she/he isn’t . Then pupils guess the other pupils pictures. (PPT)
(3)Pair work. Pupils talk about their deskmate’s picture with the sentence: Is she/he your sister/brother/father/mother/uncle/aunt?. Yes, she/he is . No, she/he isn’t
(4)Report.
(5)Teacher: This is Ivy’s father. He’s tall. Pupils read the adjectives one by one. Pupils look at the pictures and read adjectives one by one.
(6)Chant: old,old,old, He’s old. He’s old. Strong, strong, strong, She’s strong. She’s strong….
(7)Extensive listening practice. Teachers read and Pupils guess Who is teacher talking about. There are three people on PPT. Teacher: He’s a man. He’s strong. He’s young. He’s a teacher. Who’s he?Pupil: Picture 1/2/3.
(8)创设情境,呈现课文。 Jiamin 和Ben的学校准备去秋游,他们在学校门口碰上了。听听他们说什么。Teacher shows 4 questions on PPT. Q1:Who’s that lady? Q2:What does she look like? Q3:Who’s that man? Q4:What does he look like? Ask pupils to keep 4 questions in mind. Listen. Some pupils answer the 4 questions. Read the dialogue in different ways.
(9)Act out the dialogue in the front.

(1)Flash 1 : I am tall. I have short hair. I have big eyes. I am fat. I have big ears. I have a small mouth.
Do some multiple choice to check pupils understand the flash or not.

课后反思:
本节课是第8课的第二课时,一节课下来,学生基本上达到教学目标要求。遗憾的地方是拓展听读部分时间不够,没有落实,课堂部分环节可以优化,比如说意义性操练句型部分第2,3个学生的照片可以让学生两两对话。另外,小部分学生对于he 和she的发音存在混淆,需要老师提醒一下才能纠正。
