【教学内容】

广州市英语第八册Unit16  In the Market Work with Language

本课是第二课时,学生在第一课时的学习中已经掌握了常用的蔬菜单词如: potato, pepper, mushroom, broccoli, onion, carrot和上单元学习的蔬菜单词cabbage, tomato,已学句型:How much are the…? How much do the…? They’re….本节课的教学内容是复习 巩固以上句型的基础上,根据自己的实际需要学会本节的新内容:I think we need some….I think we don’t need any…?进行创情境编以对话进行练习,通过听资源学习更多购物的句型。通过看图说话,自主学习、协作表演和自主听、读、演对话等活动,使学生能够就自己喜欢的食物等进行购物英语交际。

【设计理念】

语觉论认为,语言的根本目的是交际,培养学生语言能力的最佳途径也是交际。本课正是在语觉论的这一思想指导下,以言语交际为中心,借助多媒体网络提供的多种资源,通过看图说话,自主学习、协作表演和自主听、读、演对话等活动使学生在有丰富语境和真实的交际情境中培养听说能力和综合语言运用能力。

【活动目标】

(1)     根据教学主题的需要和交际的需要,借助多媒体网络资源学习1dialogue,2readings

(2)   PPT方式提供一定主题内容的图片和关键词句,培养学生在key points辅助下进行口语表达的能力;

(3)   通过师生问答、俩俩对话、角色扮演等多种言语交际活动培养和提高口语交际能力和在日常生活中迁移运用英语的能力;

(4)   通过自主听1dialogue,2readings,使学生在语篇的听读中增强语感,提高听力,并在该过程中逐步培养和提高运用现代信息技术辅助学习的意识和能力

(5)   通过对话的学习,培养学生按自己的实际需要进行购物和合理安排膳食。

【资源准备】

(1)     自主听的资源:1dialogues(dialogue2-22readings(reading3-1,reading3-3)

(2)   辅助言语交际的材料:foods and vegetables 的图片及PPT

【活动过程】

1.Revision

资源准备:PPT出示一部分foods and vegetables的图片给学生选择,进行对话

T: So much food in the picture. They look good. Are there any tomatoes in the picture? Is there any broccoli in the picture?

TP先示范,再PP说。

A: Do you like…?

B: Yes, I do. (No, I don’t.)

A: Does your Dad like…, too?

B: Yes, he does. (No, he doesn’t.)

A: How much are the…?

B: They…yuan/a kilo.

文本框: 在对话中复习上一单元及上一课所学的肉类及蔬菜的单词和句型,为下一部分学习作了铺垫。A: Wow, so dear!

 

2.学习Work with Language

(1) 情境创设

TP利用实物进行对话

T: xxx, I’m ready for our dinner. Can you help me to see the fridge?

P: Yes, of course.

T: Are there any cabbages in the fridge? (学生打开自制fridge看,内只有tomatoes

P: No, there aren’t.

T: So we need some cabbages. Is there any chicken in the fridge?

P: No, there isn’t.

T: So we need some chicken.

T: Are there any tomatoes in the fridge?

P: Yes, there are.

T: So we don’t need some tomatoes. OK. Let’s go to the market.

T, P去市场买需要的cabbages chicken,

I think we need some cabbages. I think we need some chicken . But we we don’t need some tomatoes.

文本框: 创设情境引入,效果会比直接入课文好,因为学习往往会先入为主。

(2)板书学习I think we need some cabbages. I think we need some chicken . But we we don’t need some ….

 

(3)P-P pairwork. T checks them.

 

(4)Read page75 Exercise 1 . Answer the questions.

3.创设情境,与同桌说说你爸爸喜欢吃什么,如何为你爸爸准备喜欢吃的东西,学生根据key words说话

AWhats your favourite food? Why?

B: My favourite food is…. Because ….

A: What do you like to have for dinner?

B: I like for dinner.

A: What does your father like to have for …?

B: He likes…for ….

A: So we need …. Let’s go to the market.

 

4Tick into the computer (read dialogue2-2)

让学生根据dialogue的内容,填表,老师作一些阅读技巧的指导。

5.讨论如何健康饮食

T出示食物金字塔,让学生说说which food do we eat most/ more/ not too much /less?

TWe know different people eat different food. But healthy food can make us fit and comfortable. We eat green food most and eat junk food least. Look at the pyramid of the food .

We eat most/ more/ not too much/ least.

Because theyre healthy/ good/ harmful /bad for us.

They make me strong/fat….

6. 实际运用

A:创情境,根据食物金字塔的提示及自己的需要(已编好的菜单,用到今天学到的句子,,四人小组进行购买材料的表演。(四人小组模拟在市场买卖东西的情境,可以用到老师提示词)

 are/is the…?

A: They’re/ It’s….

B: Id like,please. Id like,too.

A: Thats yuan.

B: OK. Thank you.

A: And heres your change.
