【设计理念】
本课以北师大何可抗教授的《小学英语教育跨越式发展创新实验的理论基础-语觉论》为指导思想,抓住儿童语言能力发展的关键期,以语言运用为中心,借助现代信息技术,努力为学生创设理想的英语学习环境,提供丰富的网络资源,以“听、说”为突破口,开展看图会话,自主听读,协作表演等多种活动,让学生在颇为真实的语言情境中进行语言交际,培养学生的听、说技能,并同时发展和巩固学生的读、写能力,提高语言的综合运用能力。
本课时为Unit 11的第二课时,本课时充分把教材Unit5, Unit7, Unit9和Unit11进行综合的整和,让学生在掌握课标要求的单词、句型下,拓展有关场所的单词、句型,最后拓展学生写话。

【教学过程】
Step 1复习巩固,引入新知
1、学生跟音乐齐唱与职业有关的歌曲“What does he do?”,以此引入新课并活跃气氛。
2、Guessing riddles. 用PPT(1)给出与职业相关的短文引导学生猜职业,复习第一课时所学过和拓展过的单词。(先全班猜,然后俩俩活动 PPT(2))
3、Free talk.(通过用puppet引入,提高学生的学习英语的兴趣)
通过 song, guessing the riddles 和free talk,既唤醒学生的旧知,激发学生的开口欲望,又为下文的对话学习和说话训练做好准备。

Mary: En. When I am 20, I want to be a teacher, I will teach pupils to draw pictures. When I am 30, I want to be someone’s wife, I want to have a baby in my life. When I am 40, I want to be richer and richer, but I don’t want to get fatter and fatter. When I am 50, I want to travel around the world.
May: Great! I think your future will be colorful.
Dialogue 2:
Kate: Who’s that?
Lily: He’s my father.

Lily: Guess! He can drive a car or a motorcycle. He always wears black uniform. He can catch the bad guys.

本环节以句型What do you do?为起点,结合学生以前所学的知识,拓展听读3个对话,扩大学生的听读训练,拓展句型“Where does he/she work?”“He/She works in…”“Why?”“Because…”使学生能产生知识的联系;在拓展听读之后,通过解决任务,落实课标的内容并反馈拓展的内容。把部分职业和相关的原因编成chant,让学生在chant的过程中熟记已学和拓展的知识,让他们在学中乐,在乐中学。
