Lesson 73

本节课是《新起点英语》一年级下册第十三单元的第一课，主要是几种常见图形的介绍。是本单元的起始课。主要围绕《小学英语游戏教学》这个课题，形式多样的活动贯穿于课堂的始终，力图创设一个儿童化、趣味化、情景化的氛围。帮助学生掌握重点、突破难点，在游戏、体验、实践、参与、合作与交流中习得语言和运用语言。

二、教学目标：

(一) 知识目标：

1.利用图片引入4个基本形状及会说其名称单词circle，square，rectangle和triangle。

2. 运用句型：What shape is it? It’s a ...

(二) 能力目标：能够听懂并简单回答有关形状的名称、数量及颜色的问题。

(三)情感目标：通过4种形状单词的学习，培养学生对身边图形的认识和观察能力。

学生在初步感知、理解的基础上，掌握四个新单词。

能够熟练说出有关4种图形的chant。

Step 1: Warm up

1、Greeting
T: Good morning , boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning , Miss Zhong.
T: Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: How are you ?

Ss: Fine, thank you.

2、 Sing a song and do the action : <Apple round>

3、Make a dialogue:

Step 2 Presentation

1. Teaching the new word: shape

T: Today we’ll learn Unit13 Shapes.

2、T: Please look. What’s this?

Ss: It’s a book.

T: What shape is it? ---(rectangle)

T: Can you find rectangles in our classroom?

Yes.

3、T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a ruler.

T: What shape is it? ---(triangle)

4、Teaching other words with the same way.

5、Play a game: Make the shapes.

T: Look , I can make a circle with my fingers. Follow me boys and girls. Show me your fingers. Make the shapes follow the teacher.

6、Pair work: Make a circle, square, triangle and rectangle.

7、Guessing game: Show the part of the picture, then guess it .

8、Chant: Watch TV and follow it.
