- 本课是PEP小学英语三年级下册Unit3 At the zoo 中的第五课时，本单元共分为六课时。本课是一节对话课，教材分为Let’s talk和Make a monster两个部分。本课主要教学内容为用It has ...句型描述动物的局部特征。在本单元第一、二和四课时中，主要讲了tall,short,long等八个描写外部特征的形容词和用It is...描述动物整体特征的句型。在三年级上册中，第二单元的颜色，第三单元的身体部位和第四单元的动物都与本课有关。本节课我把教室设计成一个动物园的情景，主线为我带领大家逛动物园看动物，本节课所有的活动都在“动物园”中开展。
- 教学目标
- 知识目标： 学生能够听懂，会说用It has…句型描述动物的身体部位并能够在语境中区分和运用“It has a+形容词+单数身体部位” 和“It has +形容词+复数身体部位”。 能力目标： 1. 学生能运用It has...句型描述动物的局部特征。 2. 小组之间能够用riddle的形式进行巩固练习，提高学生说与听的能力。 情感态度和文化意识目标： 学生具有热爱动物、保护动物的意识：不乱逗玩动物或乱投喂动物等。

Step2：听读新知，初步感知

- 1.出示大象图片，教师指着大象说： Come here, children! Look at the elephant. 2.延续观赏动物的情节，教师指着大象的长鼻子继续说： OK, children, I like the elephant best. Look, it has a nose. It’s so long. It has a long nose. Long（做动作）Follow me,please. 教读It has...,并板书句型It has...学生跟说并模仿。 3.教师指着大象的尾巴，说： It has a tail. It’s so short. It has a short tail.（板书） 4.教师指着大象的眼睛和耳朵说： It has two eyes. They are small. It has two ears. They are big. So it has small eyes and big ears.（板书，标记出与前两个句子不同之处） 5.出示长颈鹿图片,让学生观察比较，并能说出：Look at the giraffe. It has small ears and small eyes. It has a small head. It has long legs.等描述长颈鹿外形的句子。 出示猴子、熊猫等动物的图片，学生用It has...描述。
