    Unit 8 An outing

    -----Alice in Wonderland

    1. 教学目标:

    1. What are you doing ?询问他人正在做的事情,并能准确作答。

    2. 理解故事并能流利朗读。

    3. 能通过阅读获取信息,学会分析图片和文本,进行自主思维和创造思维。

    4. 激发学生对英语经典童话故事的兴趣,体验做编剧的乐趣。

    5. 在思维导图的引领下,用英语说出爱丽丝梦游仙境的经历。


    1. 教学重难点:

    1. 理解和掌握新词(run away, run after, hole, key, bottle, get through)。

    2. 流利朗读故事。

    3. 用英语说出爱丽丝梦游仙境的经历。


    1. 教具准备:视频、PPT、字卡

    2. 教学过程:

    1. Talking

    1. ChantThe Bears

    2. Talk in pairs: look at the Bears family and talk about it.

    II. Teaching

    1. Talk about the fairy tales we learnt freely. Introduce the story ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and think ‘How does she go to Wonderland ?’ . Students learn and read the story by themselves.

    2. Learn the story in pictures.

    Picture 1: look at the picture. Ask and answer ( T—Sx). Remind students to think : why does Alice say ‘How funny’?

    Picture 2 & 3: listen and repeat. Understand the words (run away, run after, jump into the hole).

    Picture 4: look at the picture, ask and answer. Read the sentences together.

    Picture 5: look and fill in the blanks.(Sx) Learn the words(get through the door)

    1. Predict the ending. Think ‘What can Alice do ?’ and tell the class your ideas in Chinese or English.

    2. Choose one ending and keep on learning the story. Sx reads the sentences.

    3. Read the story together

    4. Exercise 1: put the sentence in order. And read after a little teacher.

    5. Exercise 2: put √ or ×.

    IIITraining

    1. Look at the board and retell the story.

    2. Act as a screenwriter and write the lines. Discuss in groups and enjoy the feeling of being a screenwriter.

    3. Act the story.( if time is limited, it will be the homework.)

    4. Introduce a Disney movie to the class: Alice in Wonderland. Encourage Ss to watch the English movie or an English story which is about Alice.
