一、教材版本:

二、教学内容:
本课时选自人民教育出版社PEP Unit One What’s he like? Part A Let’s talk是本单元的第一课时,是一篇关于谈论人的体貌特征和性格特点的对话课。

三、学情分析:
学生在四年级上册第三单元中的Let’s learn 已经学过单词tall、 strong、 short、 thin、 friendly和 quiet以及句型who is he? He is…He’s tall and strong.本节课引导学生复习tall、strong 、thin、short等单词,并提高要求,达到在对话中能正确,熟练地使用这些单词。本班教学对象是农村学生,英语基础比较薄弱。他们除了在课堂上接触英语外,课后很少接触有关英语的事物。虽然他们对英语很感兴趣,但让他们说英语是非常困难的。从这一实际出发,我创设了贴近学生生活情境的对话教学,力求让学生用英语会话,有助于提高学生的口语表达能力。并在小组合作中增强了学生的合作意识。

四、教学目标:
1、知识目标:通过积极有效的教学活动,学生能够听讲,认读,运用let's talk板块中的语句,如:“Who is he? He’s…Is he…?Yes, he is./No, he isn’t.”并能在情境中熟练运用。
2、 能力目标:在知识目标的基础上,要求学生在实际生活中用英语来谈论有关人的体貌特征和性格特点,从而提高综合语言运用能力。
3、情感目标:培养学生的观察能力。增强师生之间的理解,加深师生之间的情意。

五、教学重难点:
学生会听、会读、会说句子“Who is he/she? He/She’s…Is he/she…?Yes, he/she is./No, he/she isn’t.”并能在相似的情境中正确替换句子的关键词,联系新语言。学生掌握一般疑问句“Is he/she…?”及其肯定和否定回答。

七、教学环节:
Step one:Warming up
1、Greetings:
T:Good…, boys and girls.
Ss: Good …, Miss Zhang.
T: How are you?
Ss: I’m fine. Thank you. And you?
T:Very well. Thanks!
2、Let’s sing a la la song for warming up.
设计意图: 通过歌曲,将学生的注意力很自然转移到课堂,创造轻松、愉快的课堂氛围。
T: Look! I have some stars for you. Now, there are three groups. If you did a good job, you’ll get one. So try your best to get more stars for your group.
Ss: OK!
设计意图: 孩子们都有好胜心及竞争意识。所以,我将班级分成了三小组,让他们给自己组争得荣誉。一方面增强他们积极参与课堂活动,另一方面加强团体荣誉感,也促使课堂更加有效的开展
3. Play a game: Quickly response
设计意图:利用白板呈现 “快速反应”小游戏帮助学生回顾旧知也是为后面的对话练习做准备。
Step two:Presentation
1、Lead-in
T: What am I like? Am I…?
(Show the word cards like this ,tall、short、 quite、 young、 friendly、 funny ,and then stick them on the blackboard.)
设计意图:通过导入将所学过的单词部分呈现在黑板上,一是加深学生对这些单词的掌握,二是为学生在后面的对话练习提供帮助。
2、Let’s enjoy a cartoon.
T: There are two children. This one is Wu Yifan. The other is Oliver.They are talking about Yifan’s music teacher? Let’s have a look.
Q1:Who’s Yifan’s music teacher?
Q2:Is he young?
Q3:Is he funny?
T:Do you like funny teachers?
Ss: Yes.
T: Great! I like funny teachers, too.
设计意图:观看动画,理解对话内容。既有趣又生动,观后回答问题引出本课所要学习的重点句型Is he…? Yes, he is./No, he isn’t.
3、Listen and read the dialogue
T:Do you have any questions? If you have no questions, We are going to
read the dialogue . Take out your book and turn to page 4.
设计意图:跟读录音材料,正音。
4、 Act out the dialogue
(1)、Read in pairs.
(2)、T:How about others ? Wow!so many students. OK! I have an idea. Who wants to be Wu Yifan? Stand up, please! Others. You are Oliver. Are you ready? One 、two go!
设计意图:表演对话,巩固新知。先请几组学生进行对话表演,再让学生自选角色进行对话表演,充分给了学生的自主权。
5、Let’s play a guessing game
T: There are two secret people in our school. Do you want to know who they are? You may use the sentences.
Is he…? Is she …?
设计意图:用PPT呈现两个黑色轮廓的神秘人,让学生用Is he/she…?对他们进行提问。用Is she…?提问也是对对话的一个语言补充。另外这一活动的设计将机械的句型操练变得有趣。之后,揭开神秘人真面目,是学生们的体育和数学老师。学生们看到是自己的老师会很兴奋,此时让学生们拿出课前发给的表格,完成对其他授课老师的描述。用本课所学句型与搭档谈论。

Step three:Practice

T:We know some people are important to us. Maybe they are your family, friends or classmates. Look! There are some pictures. What do you want to know about them? You can ask me.

设计意图:在这一环节中我出示自己与家人朋友的照片,让学生问他们想知道的信息。在这里我先预设了三个问题,主要想通过这一环节从仅描述教师的外貌特征及性格特延伸到对其他人物的描述并为后面设计的活动做好准备。
Step four:Consolidation and extension

3、Let students come to the front of the blackboard. Show their dialogues.
设计意图:本环节的设计是对本课语言的一个巩固和延伸。在任务中我把全班分为三组,让学生拿出事先要求带来的照片,每组讨论的人物各不相同。第一组同学谈论的是家人;第二组讨论的是老师;第三组讨论的是朋友。最后请若干组上台表演对话。
4.Let’s share
T:Our teachers taught us how to learn.
Our teachers taught us how to do.
Our teachers always help us.
Our teachers often play with us.
They love me.
And we also love them forever.
设计意图:分享师生之间的生活点滴。增进师生之间的感情。
5、T: Which group is the best?
设计意图:对小组在整个课堂表现给予积极评价。
Step five:Homework
1、Listen and read the dialogue on page 4.
2、Draw your favorite teacher and talk about him/her with your partner.
