一、教学内容
PEP小学英语四年级下册Unit 1 My school Let’s learn,本课时将主要学习描述设施及活动场所的单词:playground、garden、teacher’s office、library、canteen同时要学会询问或描述学习设施和场所的大体位置,掌握句型Where is the……? It’s on the first floor.
小学四年级学生,通过上一册的学习,已经掌握了一些与学校设施有关的简单词汇,如classroom、computer、teacher’s desk 等,能运用所学对学校进行简单的描述。他们学习英语兴趣浓厚,模仿力强,善于表现自己,但有的学生活泼好动,自控能力差。因此,教师即要适度的控制课堂,又要使课堂不失趣味性。 学情分析的很清晰。
三、教学目标

能听、说、认读本课时的主要单词,能熟练的运用重要句型来询问和描述,能将本课对话在实际情境中运用,做到语音清晰,语调自然。

学生简单了解学校设施、场所大体功能,培养学生热爱学校、热爱用英语表达的感情。
四、教学重难点
教学重点:
1. 听、说、认读playground, garden, library, canteen, teacher’s office。
2. 会用句型:Where is the…? It’s on the first floor.
教学难点:
让学生注意单词Library辅音连缀的发音,灵活询问和描述学校设施、场所的大体位置。让拓展目标有体现
五、教学过程
Step1 Warm up
Sing a song: Our school
Free talk
Look at the photo.
T: Look at the picture. What’s this?
S:It’s our school.
T:Yes,this is school. It’s beautiful, I like it very much. Do you like our school?
S:Yes,it is.
T:Can you describe our school for me?

设计意图:用以前学过的单词如computer、classroom、teacher’s desk 等,让学生初步感知美丽校园,为后面词汇学习做铺垫。这个Fre talk 设计很好,孩子们可以自主的说,可是没有任何支架吗?
Step 2 Presentation
1..Show pictures about important words.
①教学playground
T:X like playing basketball, can you tell me where he should go?
S:操场
T:You are right ,Do you know how to express it in English?(展示图片)
T:找个别同学回答
The teacher teach students read the “playground”.
学生跟读,齐读,找个别同学读,提醒学生单词发音,反馈个别学生读音情况。
②教学garden
T:Spring is coming ,many flowers open soon ,please look at the picture.
T:Can you guess where the place is?
S:……
The teacher teach students read “garden”.学生学习单词,在句子中练习更好。
学生跟读,齐读,找个别同学读,提醒学生单词发音,反馈个别学生读音情况。
教育学生爱护一草一木。
③教学library
T:I like reading books, can you tell me where I should go?
S:图书馆
The teacher teach students read “library”
T:Where is our library?
引导学生回答:it’s on the ……floor. it’s on the ……floor.
同桌互说Where is our library? it’s on the ……floor.
学生跟读,齐读,齐读方式,整体效果会很好,可是了解不到大多数,后面有找个别同学,我觉得这里可以少些齐读,不要每个单词都有。找个别同学读,提醒学生单词发音,反馈个别学生读音情况。
④教学canteen
教师做出饥饿状态:I am hungry ,tell me where I should go?
S:餐厅
T:right, do you know how to express it in English?
教师带学生读canteen,学生齐读,找个别同学读,提醒学生单词发音,反馈个别学生读音情况
T:Where is our canteen?
S:it’s on the……floor.
同桌之间练习Where is our canteen? it’s on the……floor.
⑤教学teacher’s office
The teacher shows photo.
T:Are you familiar to this place?
S:Yes,we are.
T:Do you know how to express it in English?
教师带领学生读teacher’s office,学生齐读,找个别学生读,提醒学生单词发音,反馈个别学生读音情况
T:where is my teacher’s office?
S:It’s on the ……floor.
同桌之间互相练习。

1. 看口型猜单词。教师先示范,然后让学生做。
2. Look and say. 老师出示图片,让学生快速抢答。
