【教学目标】
一、知识与技能目标:
1. 学生能够听说、认读单词:came, made, put, looked at, went to, wanted, had, looked for
2. 学生能够理解故事大意,在图片、关键词的辅助下复述故事。
二、过程与方法目标:
1. 通过创设看动画片的情境,引导学生进入故事内容。
2. 通过小组合作的方式,培养学生自主读故事,理解故事,讲故事的能力。
3. 通过师生交流、生生交流等方式,引导学生运用所学句型就藏与找进行问答。
三、情感态度目标:
通过学生参与游戏寻找彩蛋,了解复活节的背景文化知识,增加对西方文化的了解。
四、拓展目标
1. 能够听懂复活节文化介绍视频的内容,并作出相应的练习。
2. 能够熟练运用方位介词进行两两对话。

【学情分析】
四年级学生具备基本的语言运用能力,喜欢阅读故事,能够进行自主思考,但是拓展听读训练不够,学生的听力能力比较差。

Step1 Warm-up
1. Look at the picture and guess the character“ Kate”.
Q: Who is she?
2. T: This is our friend Kate. She likes a cartoon very much. Now let’s see which cartoon does Kate like.

Q: What gifts does Snoopy give to his friends? (eggs)
【设计意图】通过观看动画,导入故事主人公,初步渗透故事主题。
课堂以动画片开始,既符合四年级孩子的心理,又集中了孩子的注意力,也调动了孩子学习的热情,同时动画片的内容正好是本课时的内容,让孩子在欢乐的气氛中初步感知本课的主要内容:复活节。这是一个很好的引入环节。

Step2 Presentation
1. Tell the story
P1:
T: Kate thought: Snoopy gave the eggs to his friends, and his friends were happy. I can also give some eggs to my friends. So Kate bought a lot of eggs.
Q: Whose house did she come to? (her friend Wilma’s house) →Kate came to stay.
P2:
T: All of the family members were happy about Kate’s coming. They were busy preparing the dinner.
Qs: What was Wilf doing?
How about Wilma and Wilf? (making a big cake)
On the cake, what did they put? (eggs)
P3:
Q: Finally, the cake had been finished. How did they feel?
Let’s look at Wilma. What did Wilma hold in her hands? (little eggs)
Wilma looked at these little eggs and thought: what can I do with them?
Q: If you were Wilma, what could you do with these eggs?
P4-5
T: Now let’s see Wilma’s idea. Her idea is to play a game with others. The game’s name is “The Egg Hunt”.
(Show the title of the story. Put it on the blackboard.)
T: So she went to the park. She wanted to hide the eggs.
Qs: What animals can you see in the park? Do they like candies?
T: If you were Wilma, where would you hide the eggs? (Move the egg sticker on the blackboard)→in, on, under, in front of, behind
Now let’s see Wilma’s idea. Where did she put eggs?
【设计意图】学生通过观察图片,进行思考猜测,同时对于介词进行复习。

T: Wilf and Kate came to the park. Wilma said: “Wilf, Kate,come here! You can look for the eggs.” Kate looked for the eggs everywhere, but she could not find any eggs. “Where are they?”she said.
P7-8:
Q: Let’s look at the squirrels. What were they doing? (They were running to a big tree.)建议:能否加一句Why did they run to the tree?
And there was sth. In their mouths.
Q: Who were the first to find the eggs?

Q: Did Kate have eggs at last? (bigger chocolate eggs)
2. Read the story
1) Listen and read after the computer
2) Pair-work: Fill in the blanks and check the answers
【设计意图】在分组朗读故事的基础上,小组进行短文填空,反馈学生对于故事的理解。

【课后反思】
本课是典范英语故事的学习,并涉及了相关的文化背景介绍和相应的练习活动。学生们在进行活动的过程中十分积极,所以,课堂效果比较好。但是,在讲故事过程中,需要更注意语言的生动性,和提问题的开放性。
