教材分析：

本课是新版三年级英语第四单元第一课时的内容，主要对动物单词duck pig cat bear dog elephant monkey bird tiger and panda.进行学习，并在What’s this ?的基础上拓展that。并能正确流利的表达，并在培养生听、说、读的基础上加入写的能力。

教学目标：

1. Words : A this and that

B New words: duck pig cat bear dog elephant monkey bird tiger and panda。

2.Sentences:

1) What’s this ? . It’s a/an ….

2) What’s that ? It’s a/an ….

教学重难点：

Step 1 : Warm --- up

1. Free talk:

设计意图：在歌曲中复习巩固较简单的动物单词，并在此基础上进行改编，从而引起学生的有意注意。

Step 2: Presentation

1 .Lead -in :

设计意图：简笔画可以很形象、直观的表达我们所要表达的内容，不用过多的解释，简单明了，学生的目光也很容易被吸引。

设计意图：图片的直观性，以及简洁可以减少解释的时间，直观，并且吸引学生目光，学习起来事半功倍。
